Game-changer mechanical thrombectomy in stroke patients.
Stroke thrombectomy is one of the biggest game-changers in medicine in the last years – the stroke treatment has changed from almost no treatment to (not in all but many patients) complete healing. Thank you very much to all other departments at Medizinische Universität Wien for the excellent collaboration (Neurology, Emergency, Anesthesiology, etc.)
In this case a 69 y/o male patient with an occlusion of the basilar artery was successfully treated.
